What is AMD FSR?
FSR, or FidelityFX Super Resolution, is AMD’s upscaling and frame generation technology which can notably help to enhance your frame rates and gaming experience. There are three versions of FSR currently available – FSR 2.0, 3.0, and 3.1.
FSR 2.0
FSR 2.0 harnesses temporal upscaling to boost image quality, realistic visuals, and your frame rates to deliver a competitive edge over your in-game enemies.
FSR 3.0
FSR 3.0 utilises cutting-edge super-resolution temporal upscaling, advanced frame rate generation, and a built-in latency reduction to unlock incredible performance and render your games in glorious detail.
FSR 3.1
FSR 3.1, is equipped with powerful frame generation tech that delivers a notable boost to frame rates. In addition to this, there is a brand-new ‘native AAA’ mode to unlock stunning visuals and more realistic image quality. All with improved stability for more reliable performance and minimal display stutter or screen tearing.
