Hot of the press, the rumour mill is circulating with hints of Intel 15th Gen hitting the virtual shelves in 2024.

If you’re in the market for a new tasty CPU, we’ve rounded up all the key rumours and speculation to showcase everything we can expect from Intel Arrow Lake.

Intel Core Ultra 200S processors officially released as of October 2024, packing in incredible performance per-watt and a dedicated NPU to streamline your workloads.

Intel 15th Gen CPUs – What Can We Expect?

Intel Core Ultra, or Arrow Lake CPUs, are the latest generation of Team Blue processors, promising even more technological advancements to help boost your productivity and gaming workflows. This is in part thanks to the hybrid core architecture, first introduced with the 12th Gen line-up. These processors boast a blend of P- (performance) and E- (efficiency) cores to facilitate ultra-fast performance and seamless multitasking, with Intel Thread Director ensuring the best core is assigned to the job.

However, what sets Arrow Lake processors apart is that the P- and E-cores are now on two separate architectures. The P-cores utilise Lion Cove, while the E-cores harness Skymont arranged in a 3D five chiplet design for improved performance across all your single- and multi-threaded workloads. Plus, the on-board NPU (Neural Processing Unit) delivers next-level efficiency and rapid processing times across a range of AI applications – revolutionising the way you work forever.

In addition to this, Intel Core Ultra CPUs pack in even more pins, requiring the brand-new socket, LGA 1851. This means you’ll need to pair your tasty new upgrade with a compatible motherboard in order to fully utilise Intel Arrow Lake. This new socket also supports DDR5, delivering quick data transfer speeds, in-game loading times, and minimal latency.
