Will the Size of My GPU Affect What Case I Can Use?
In short, yes! GPU clearance determines the length and width of the graphics card. You can’t have a graphics card that is longer or wider than the case itself.
If you are planning on implementing features such as water cooling or drive cages, you need to make sure you have ample space inside your case. The size of the GPU can affect how much clearance you have for installing custom configurations.
What Size Case do I Need for an AMD Radeon RX 6000 Graphics Card?
We would recommend that your PC case has a GPU clearance of at least 380mm for an AMD Radeon RX 6000 GPU. This will leave you with plenty of additional space if you wish to include water cooling, AiOs, and much more.
However, to ensure full compatibility with your chosen case, it’s recommended you check with the manufacturer of your GPU and case for its dimensions, expansion slots, and GPU clearance.
