The Gameplay
Journey to the Living Lands, a mysterious island filled with adventure and danger at every corner. As an envoy of Aedyr, you’re tasked with investigating a mysterious plague that defies the laws of nature and reason spreading chaos across the wilderness. What begins a mission of duty will soon spiral into something deeply personal as you start to feel as if the land recognises you, pushing your fate towards something far greater…
As you investigate this deadly threat, every choice you make will have a ripple affect across the Living Lands, shaping the future of its people, creatures, and even possibly yourself. But be warned… Each decision carries weight and the forces you’ll encounter won’t hesitate to put your skills to the test. Do you have what it takes?
First-Person Combat
As a first-person RPG, Avowed features a detailed combat system. You’ll be able to mix and match swords, spells, guns, and shields to secure your survival and aid you in battle. Hone your skills in magic, as you level up your grimoire to unlock spells to trap, freeze, or even burn your enemies.
Does Avowed Include Multiplayer?
Obsidian Entertainment has confirmed that Avowed is a single-player experience only. However, that doesn’t have to stop you from sharing the gameplay with others via a live stream.
