The arrival of the Spectre Pro RGB fan series from BitFenix represents a new addition to their portfolio of RGB-illuminated products, this time implemented in close coordination with ASUS. TriBright RGB-LEDs have now been integrated into the renowned Spectre Pro fans. Thanks to patented TriBright technology the embedded LEDs are particularly bright, durable, and offer – in conjunction with ASUS Aura Sync software – an impressive range of RGB lighting effects. These lighting effects can then synchronise with other Aura Sync-compatible components. Furthermore the fans are also available with RGB controllers while offering, as expected, excellent performance along with low noise levels.

The Features of the Spectre Pro RGB Fans at a Glance:

Phanteks RGB Lighting

  • Hight static pressure with low noise emissions
  • Available in 120-, 140-, 200- and 230 mm formats

Advanced Fan Technology with TriBright RGB-LEDs & ASUS Aura Sync Support

The fan blades of the Spectre Pro RGB are formed in such a way as to reduce noisy air turbulence to a minimum while effectively focusing air flow. Consequently the fans achieve a a high static pressure, resulting in a fan design that is ideal for use on radiators, CPU coolers and – of course – as case fans. BitFenix also employs so-called Fluid Dynamic Bearings that excel thanks to their quiet operation and durability. Furthermore the dual frame layout, whereupon the fan is seated within its own frame inside the larger exterior frame, reduces the transfer of vibration.

The TriBright LED technology from BitFenix was initially used in the Alchemy 2.0 LED strips and this allowed extremely bright LEDs, LEDs that also came with exceptional long-term durability. Should the fans be used on an ASUS motherboard with a 4-pin RGB header, the colour of the lighting as well as the effects can be synchronised via ASUS’ Aura Sync software with other compatible hardware and peripherals. The lighting can also be configured via an RGB controller, available bundled in with Command Kits. The LEDs are positioned in the fan hub and create an impressive halo effect together with the transparent white rotor blades and the dispersion ring.
