Stop the presses, Phanteks has done it again! They have created a stunning case and some clever accessories to go with it.

Phanteks Eclipse G500A superior airflow for high-end gaming systems

Phanteks, widely known for their exceptional PC cases, has released their latest design, the Eclipse G500A. This case comes in one of three configurations, the D-RGB model in satin black or matte white, the Performance model, and a Fanless model. In addition to these fantastic cases, Phanteks has also released a new series of fans, the M25 Series, and new RGB lighting strips, the Neon Series.

The Phanteks Eclipse G500A, a Premium Airflow Powerhouse

The Phanteks Eclipse G500A is a godsend to anyone needing ample airflow to keep the latest modern hardware cool. The Eclipse G500A utilises an increased amount of mesh in the construction of its front and top panels. This extra mesh allows for more air to be pulled into the chassis and exhausted out the rear.

In addition to this, Phanteks has further innovated the mounting points for fans and radiators. Firstly, the brackets are removable, allowing you to easily install your fans or radiators of choice and simply plug them back in. What’s really clever about these brackets is that Phanteks has been able to eliminate excess metal from their mounting points. By removing the traditional mounting brackets, a larger space is created, allowing unimpeded airflow.

Now to maintain the optimum airflow, you’re going to need some premium fans. Enter the M25 series. With these fans, Phanteks has built upon their experience with the T30 series to produce fans with exceptional performance. Specifically, the M25 fans have been optimised to work best with mesh panels and radiators. They are able to sustain excellent airflow through these restricted airways while preserving a low speed for reduced noise and an amazing MTTF of 30,000 hours!

Outstanding Looks

So, the Eclipse G500A and M25 fans offer exceptional performance when it comes to airflow. But what about the really important question, can I build a beautiful PC with them? Well, yes, you can. The G500A has some clever tricks up its sleeve, or should I say panels, that allow for some of the cleanest cable management you can imagine.

Phanteks Eclipse G500A cable management

Around the back of the case, you can hide a multitude of cables thanks to a pair of doors. These cover both the PSU chamber and the cable pass-throughs. What’s more, Phanteks has included plenty of double-looped Velcro straps to tie down all your cables tidily.

Around the front, though, is where the real magic happens. You will find four sliding covers. Slide them open, and you have plenty of space to route your cables with ease. Close them, and all those cables will be hidden as if they were never there.

Now onto the M25s: not only do these fans look sleek with a simple, no-nonsense design, but they also help to keep your build tidy. This is thanks to daisy-chaining. No longer will you have a half-dozen cables stretching across your case, causing an eye sore. Simply connect the fans you want together with the included short extension cable, and you can run multiple fans from a single fan header.

Phanteks is Lighting the Way

You’ve chosen the components for your epic build, but how do you get everyone to notice how good your building skills are? You light them up like it’s New Year’s Eve. Phanteks has produced some vibrant RGB products to help you with this goal.

Eclipse G500A light strip

Firstly, the Eclipse G500A comes in several models that each boast a different RGB mindset. The D-RGB models feature spectacular lighting strips along the front panel as well as on top of the PSU chamber. Plus, this case also features three D-RGB M25 fans, mounted at the front of the case. The Fanless model maintains the RGB strips of the D-RGB but does not include any fans. For those that want to be more subtle with their lighting, the Performance model changes the light strips to pure white LEDs and includes four non-RGB fans.

Additionally, you can add extra lighting to your computer, with Phanteks’ new line of RGB lighting strips, the Neon Series. With a Neon light strip, you can easily highlight anything you want in your system. Simply trace an outline around what you want to illuminate and secure in place with the included M3 adhesive.
