Expected to release in December 2024, the loveable little green hero, Croc, will soon be on our gaming PCs. Croc: Legend of the Gobbos has been lovingly remastered so that fans, new and old, can experience the adventure once again. Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Remaster Gameplay
It’s time to KER-SPLAT our way through Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Remaster. The 90s cult platformer is back and has been remastered with updated visuals and more. You must play as Croc, the little yet loveable green crocodile on a mission to rescue his Gobbo friends and save the world from the diabolical Baron Dante. Jump, run, and glide through the forty 3D levels with complete freedom to roam and explore!
The Remaster
To bring Croc: Legend of the Gobbos up to date, the graphics have been enhanced to high definition, while still retaining the delightful charm of the original game. Colours are vibrant and the landscapes captivating, a true homage to the 1997 game. What’s more, modern control mechanics and an updated camera have been added, complete with retro video modes for some authentic gameplay. The remaster expertly balances nostalgia with modern expectations, making it accessible to returning players and those new to Croc.
In addition to this, Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Remaster comes with a complete Crocipedia. This is a painstakingly curated digital museum to all thing Croc – the perfect extra content for retro gaming enthusiasts! Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Remaster will be available on GOG.com. There is no official release date yet, but there are rumours it might land in December 2024.
With the remaster, you get the original version of the game too. GOG is passionate about making sure our gaming history doesn’t simply vanish when digital copies become unavailable (as is happening to a scary portion of games!). Games like Croc made us the gamers we are today, so it’s only fitting we are still able to play and love them!
