Brace yourselves, Alien fans—Alien: Rogue Incursion is bringing the spine-chilling terror of the Xenomorph universe to VR. Rogue Incursion is the franchise’s first foray into VR and is set to plunge players deep into the heart of the Alien series.
Step into the boots of Zula Hendricks, a hardened ex-Colonial Marine on a mission to save her former squad mate, Benjamin Carver, and uncover the nightmarish secrets lurking beneath the uncharted planet, Purdan. Sounds scary, right? We all know I cannot handle even the slightest spooky game, but luckily for all of us, we won’t be alone! By our side is Davis 01, a sentient AI companion.
What We Know So Far
The game’s key features promise to deliver the intense atmosphere and tension that have made the Alien franchise iconic:
- Play as Zula Hendricks: A fan-favourite character from the extended Alien lore, making her debut as a playable protagonist.
- Dynamic AI Xenomorphs: These creatures won’t just pop out randomly—they’ll learn from your moves, making each encounter unpredictable.
- VR Immersion: With VR technology, players will feel fully immersed in the eerie environments, with every corner potentially hiding a new threat.
- Iconic Gear: Gear up with classic Alien weapons like the Pulse Rifle and Motion Tracker, giving players a sense of familiarity while enhancing the survival-horror experience.

The Alien Experience in VR
We’re still waiting for more details to drop, but from the trailer and what we know so far, Alien: Rogue Incursion is looking to be a great VR game when it drops on December 19th 2024. We can expect a blend of action and horror as players explore a dark, abandoned facility crawling with Xenomorphs. With the ability to hear every screech and movement in VR only heightening the tension and pushing our survival skills to the limit.
PC Requirements
Not too much has been revealed about Alien: Rogue Incursion’s PC requirements just yet. We do know there’ll be support for the Valve Index, Meta Rift S, Quest 2, Quest 3, and we can make an educated guess on the sort of PC you’ll need to get the most out of the game.
