Controlling the Galahad II LCD AiO

Controlling the Galahad II LCD AIO is made simple. With Lian Li’s powerful L-Connect 3 software, you can adjust every aspect of the AIO cooler. This new version of L-Connect 3 now boasts options to control the display. Using the user-friendly controls, you can create a unique display for your screen. This software even has some editing options built in. Using L-Connect 3, you can crop the perfect section of an image to display, fine tune colours, rotate a picture, and even cut a video down to highlight the exact section you want to play.

In addition to this, L-Connect 3 still retains its easy-to-use controls for lighting. This software allows you to adjust the integrated RGB LEDs on the pump block and fans. Additionally, you can control any Lian Li RGB product within your gaming PC with L-Connect 3, such as lighting kits or case fans. What’s more, you can sync all your lighting together to create mesmerising effects across your whole computer.

L-Connect 3 can also control the speeds of the vital cooling components, like the Galahad II LCD’s fans and pump. Creating a fan curve is made simple, allowing you to set your desired fan speeds for any loads. Maybe you’re not putting your PC under any strain, browsing the net, or writing a quick e-mail. When carrying out these light loads, you can set your cooling to whisper-quiet operation, where fans and pump speeds are reduced. Cooling Performance

The Lian Li Galahad II LCD AIO is an amazing CPU cooler, coming in both 280mm and 360mm sizes, as well as being available in black or white finishes. Each model is equipped with an 8^th Gen Asetek pump that delivers a 100W, which equates to about 2 degrees improvement in cooling performance over previous generations. To achieve this result, Asetek has refined the design of their pumps, such as including a precision engineered 3-phase motor, capable of delivering an increased flow rate whilst being quieter. Additionally, the tubes of the pump have been increased in diameter, allowing for more coolant to flow through them. The surface area of the cooling plate has been expanded, for better heat dissipation.

To remove the heat from the coolant, Lian Li utilises 30mm thick radiators. Each radiator boasts 20 fins per inch, in a single wave configuration. Not only does this design offer excellent surface area, but also minimises air resistance, making it the perfect choice to pair with lower static air pressure fans.

Creating the Airflow

Now that I’ve mentioned the fans, how do the models packaged with the Galahad II LCD AIO perform? There are three of options for fans: the 280mm model comes with a pair of 140mm fans and the 360mm model is packaged with three 120mm fans.
