Core Keeper Is Finally Out of Early Access – Here’s What You Need to Know

After two years in early access, Core Keeper is finally getting its full release on August 27th 2024! We can’t wait to experience this cosy pixel game once it officially releases and therefore we’ve put together this handy blog post detailing everything you need to know. We’ve covered plenty of exciting gameplay details, multiplayer, what platforms it’s available on, and our top PCs to play Core Keeper.

Survival Meets Terraria and Stardew Valley

In this wonderful pixel art game, players take control of an explorer who finds themselves in a cavern of creatures and resources. Unable to escape and return to the surface, players must hone and perfect their skills in order to survive underground.  To create and expand your underground base, you will need to learn how to:

Craft:

Utilise the materials and resources you find to craft weaponry and equipment, such as pickaxes for mining, bridges or even bonfires.

Farm:

Find, plant seeds, and nurture your crops to grow food and resources. Combine your ingredients in the cooking pot and create new recipes with buffs.

Mine:

Explore the underground cavern and collect a variety of resources. Discover crystals, fossils, trinkets, and ores, then utilise these to craft items.

Defeat Creatures:

As you explore the underground caverns, you will uncover different living biomes full of terrifying creatures. Learn how to defeat these creatures and claim their crystals.
