Everything We Know About Lord of the Rings: Gollum 

At last, after several delays, Lord of the Rings: Gollum is set to hit our gaming libraries as of May 25th.

The Gameplay:  

Experience the untold story of Gollum’s journey. Daedalic Entertainment has revealed that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will take place before the events of The Fellowship of the Ring. The game will follow Gollum’s journey through the deepest corners of Middle-Earth as he fights for what he has lost. The One Ring.  

Your journey as Gollum begins after he has lost the ring to Bilbo. Trapped and tortured in the gruesome fortress of Barad-dur in Mordor, you must try to free yourself and begin your hunt for the precious once more. Utilise Gollum’s stealth, agility, and intelligence to survive and overcome Middle-Earth’s darkest threats. All whilst facing the inner battle between the villainous influence of Gollum, and the cautious nature of Smeagol.  

Every decision you make and how you decide to play the game will have an influence on him. Will you decide to listen to the dark, twisted desires of Gollum as he hunts for his precious? Or follow the innocent thoughts of Smeagol? 

In The Lord of The Rings: Gollum, journey to iconic locations from the series, including Mirkwood and Cirith Ungol, plus encounter some familiar faces along the way. 

Will LOTR: Gollum Feature Multiplayer?

Daedalic Entertainment has confirmed that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will not feature multiplayer. It will be a single-player experience only.

Is LOTR: Gollum a PC Exclusive?

Should have hired Andy Serkis for the voice acting. Totally lost me as a buyer the moment I heard Gollum talk.
