Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is a tasty DLC expansion pack that unlocks even more content and gameplay. It puts players at the forefront of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark story, taking you to the far flung corners of this world and beyond. You are tasked with posing as a member of a non-governmental organisation to help prevent the second wave of The Final Days. This apocalyptic event threatens to plunge the world and humanity into chaos.
The deadly Zodiark is rumoured to be the key behind the sudden return of The Final Days, requiring you to travel across the world and even to his prison on the moon on the hunt for answers. Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker brings you plenty of new content to explore, including dungeons, monsters, cities, and recipes.

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail
Released on July 2nd 2024, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is the latest DLC pack and is set to take players on a brand-new journey of discovery. Taking place in Tural, the ‘New World’, get ready to explore a vibrant new story after the fallout of Hydaelyn and Zodiark. Tasked with aiding the rite of succession to determine the next ruler, you’ll soon unravel far more deadly stakes.
As a DLC expansion pack, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail brings a whole host of new gameplay and content. This includes extensive new dungeons to explore, raids to conquer, and challenges to undertake. Plenty to get stuck into this summer!

Does Final Fantasy XIV Online Include Multiplayer?
As an MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV Online features plenty of multiplayer gameplay for you and the squad to explore. This is, however, locked behind a monthly subscription.
With your purchase of the base game, you’ll typically receive a 30-day free trial in which you can play up to eight different characters up to a maximum of level 70. If you wish to continue playing after 30 days, you’ll need to purchase a separate monthly subscription.
There are two different subscription tiers:
- Entry
- Standard
Entry grants you access for 30-days for £7.69 a month. With the Entry subscription tier, you have a maximum of eight characters per server and physical data centre. Alternatively, the Standard edition gives you the choice between 30, 90, or 180 days with a maximum of 8 characters per server and 40 via physical data centre.
