Forspoken is from Square Enix and was released on the 24th of January 2023. In this fantastical RPG, experience a story packed full of magic, tragedy, and even parkour.
The Gameplay
Forspoken will transport players into the shoes of Frey, a young girl from New York City who finds herself trapped in the fantastical land of Athia. Equipped with a magical and sentient bracelet, ‘Cuff’’, that gifts her unique abilities, Frey must learn how to wield her newfound powers.
To find her way home, Frey must agree to help the citizens of Athia against a corrupting force known as the Break. As their only hope and completely immune to its deadly effects, you must unravel its secrets, fight off hordes of dangerous creatures, save the realm, and finally, return home.
The World of Athia
Under the rule of a group of mad and evil sorceresses, the Tantas, Athia has been transformed by the Break. Split into four different realms and hunted by this corruption, Athia is full of dangerous beasts and monstrous men who pose a threat at every turn.
Magical Parkour
To explore these four different realms, you will need to perfect Frey’s unique magical parkour abilities. Frey is freely able to scale walls, canyons, run at lightning-fast speeds, and jump from mind-blowing heights with ease.

Frey’s Journey Continues
Can’t get enough of Forspoken? You can carry on Frey’s adventure in the DLC pack Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust. After bringing peace to Athia, Frey must now search for a way to permanently rid the world from the effects of the Break. Along the way, she follows a mysterious voice that leads her into the past in which she must come face to face with a grim truth about her fate.
Accompanied by Tanta Cintra, and a new set of magic, Frey must uncover the answers she needs and save Athia once more. Maybe even save herself…
