Gameplay
Embark on an incredible adventure that details the origin story of the iconic military operative, Snake. Set deep in the jungle during the 1960s, relive infamous moments in history as the Cold War alters the geo-political landscape forever. Only this elite soldier, with his stealth and survival skills, can successfully infiltrate the enemy and stop a weapon of mass destruction from triggering a full-scale world war.
Harness Snake’s powerful arsenal of skills and weaponry to outsmart your enemies with camouflage, close-quarters combat, stalking, interrogating, climbing, hunting, and more! All whilst you battle it out for survival in the depths of a deadly jungle. Here, threats lurk in the shadows from complex traps, precious prey, and terrifying predators.
New Teaser Screenshots
Whilst we eagerly await more news about this remake, developers Konami has unveiled plenty of teaser screenshots. Just get us hyped even more!
From these shots we can see that the remake isn’t going to be overly different from the original, boasting the same serious tactical espionage, fast-paced action, and humorous cartoonish elements of the original. We love to see a rubber duck getting a well-deserved cameo.
What’s more, the screenshots showcase a brand-new revamped UI and first-person mode which players can freely swap to when they please.
When Will METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER Be Released?
There’s no confirmation of a release date yet from developers Konami, with rumours circulating of sometime in late 2024. However, we’ll keep this blog post updated as soon as any new details are announced!
