What Does Steam Deck Verified Mean?
Despite the literal thousands of Steam Deck Verified games, there are even more without this certification. But can you still play them on the Deck? For most games, yes! However, you might run into some issues with anti-cheat software compatibility and controls not optimised for the handheld.
Cyberpunk 2077
Last year, CD Project Red announced that its fan favourite, Cyberpunk 2077, had been verified for Steam Deck compatibility. Essentially, this verification means the game has passed all compatibility checks and offers a great experience on the Deck.
Released in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 is still one of Steam’s best open-world RPG games. What’s more, it runs great on the Deck!

Hades II
Finally, in early access and already one of the best games of 2024, Hades II is not only Steam Deck Verified but also is also incredibly fun on the handheld. Battle beyond the Underworld using dark sorcery to take on the Titan of Time, in this sequel to award-winning rouge-like dungeon crawler Hades.
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series
Switching things up a little now to an absolute classic series that originally launched back in 2012. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series contains all 4 Seasons, 400 Days, and The Walking Dead: Michonne, which amounts to over 50 hours of gameplay across 23 episodes. Highly stylised, and still one of if not the best Walking Dead game series, you’ll want to grab this one.

Stardew Valley
Time to whip out Ol’ reliable. Yes, Stardew Valley always seems to make its way into lists like this. Do I care? No! Great for relaxing after a long day of travelling, Stardew Valley is the perfect companion for your Steam Deck adventures, especially after the huge new 1.6 content update.
Genshin Impact
But wait, Genshin Impact is not on Steam! While it may not be available from the Steam store, you can absolutely play Genshin Impact and other non-Steam games on your Deck.
