Earlier this year, Ian “8Pack” Parry released the absolutely hench gaming PC, The Frame R8. Not only was this build decked out with high-end components and overclocking capabilities, but the chassis was wall-mounted, making it a truly unique gaming PC.Well, now you can create your own Frame R8, thanks to 8Pack once again teaming up with Creative Solutions For Gamers to bring you two new wall-mounted PC cases.

More Crows than The Wall
Those with keen eyes will notice that The Crow is the PC case used in the last collab between 8Pack and CSFG. Sporting dimensions of 540mm x 820mm x 200mm, this chassis is the perfect canvas for transforming your flagship gaming PC into a work of art. Primed for water cooling, this gaming PC case is deep enough to accommodate a dual pump cooling system operating in a single loop for maximum flow rates. This can be paired with 2 x 360mm radiators, 6 x 120mm fans, and 2 x reservoirs.
In true 8Pack style, there are custom distro-plates, D5 pump tops, and reservoirs that bring the best in cooling capabilities. Not only will your case be stunning, but this cooling system will keep your elite-tier components operating in near silence.
When it comes to components, there is a lot of scope and flexibility for installation. Able to accommodate up to an EATX motherboard, there are two expansion slots to support GPUs of a maximum 400mm in length. Mount vertically or horizontally, wherever the inspiration takes you, and pair with a distro-plate for cooling. If you prefer more cooling potential, there is the option of installing a 300mm long GPU with a reservoir. The backplate fully supports both options.
What’s more, the backplate has additional adjustment capabilities with the PSU shroud. Designed to host your chosen PSU, the clearly designated area can be configured for maximum support. The Crow can be equipped with up to an ATX PSU, a maximum of 185mm in length.
Explore the Tower of Doom
Very similar to The Crow, the Tower of Doom is a narrower wall mount with the same footprint as its counterpart. Due to its slimmer framework, the water cooling is designed as a single loop system with a custom U-shaped distro-plate feeding the set-up. Nevertheless, it still comes with other specially designed components to maximise the efficiency of the system. As with all 8Pack products, quiet gaming comes as the standard.
Other differences include being able to host a maximum length GPU of 330mm, plus half the number of radiators and fans. Never fear, though, for the Tower of Doom still has plenty of support for overpowered components. 8Pack never does things by halves!
Gaming, But Make It Art
As wall-mounted PC cases, both chassis are manufactured from premium materials. The framework is constructed from CNC-milled and sandblasted aluminium, providing structural integrity and the strength to hold your case against the wall. The front panel is 4mm, laser-cut tempered glass: aka the perfect screen. Innovative in design, there are no side panels, allowing for natural airflow throughout the chassis. Plus, due to their streamlined stature, there is little dust collection within the case and therefore no need for unsightly dust filters.
Keeping the interiors sleek and tidy, the back panel has well-planned cross-sections, making cable management incredibly easy. You’ll be arranging cables like a pro with The Crow and Tower of Doom. What’s more, also hidden, behind the backplate, is where you can mount storage devices, USB hubs, and RGB controllers. Only beautiful components can go before the backplate!
Form, Function, There’s a Difference?
Though very similar in design and layout, the intended use for both The Crow and Tower of Doom differ. Accordingly, each has been tweaked and specialised to support these intended functions, whilst remaining a magnificent case in its own right.
Much like the Frame R8, The Crow is intended to hold power-hungry components for flagship gaming PCs or content creation. Equip this chassis with high-performance CPUs – like AMD’s Threadripper or Intel’s Extreme Cores – and a CrossFire or SLI graphics card set-up. Push it to the max with overclocking and heavy workloads, and you’ll still enjoy quiet performance. The dual pump cooling was designed for this kind of intensive work, so have no fear.
On the other hand, whilst able to support some of the more elite-tier components, Tower of Doom comes into its own with gaming-focused components. As such, this is better suited to the AMD Ryzen 9 5900x processor or Intel 19-10100K CPU with a 30 series GPU. Your AAA titles will look spectacular whilst your system operates in near silence. Still, this is an 8Pack product, so you know it can handle pretty much any elite-tier hardware you install!
Of course, with its tempered glass front panel, there is lots of scope for RGB lighting. You can even customise the colour and glass tint on The Crow and Tower of Doom to match your desired aesthetic. Represent your favourite esports team colours or display your own branding – 8Pack products are perfect for tailoring to meet your exact requirements. Do note that as a result of any changes to either product can affect lead time and cost.
The perfect wall-mounted chassis is worth waiting for, right?!
