And so, we ran…” Harvest Hunt doesn’t waste time setting the stage for the dark, twisted adventure that awaits. You find yourself in Luna Nova, a village shrouded in mystery and terror. As the Warden, it’s your job to protect the villagers and uncover the dark secrets hidden within this cursed land.

Harvest Hunt expertly blends horror, survival, and strategy. All wrapped up in hauntingly beautiful, hand-drawn environments. The game spans five nights of survival, with each Warden having their own story to uncover and unique strengths to exploit, and every night brings new terrors. Inspired by tarot cards, the Whispers system ensures that no two runs are ever the same. Every decision, every move, matters. Will you use your Vigor to summon a Fragment at the Effigy, or risk carrying it across the cornfields? Will you splurge on a Hatchet, or make do with a Stinkpot and hope for the best? The choices are yours, and the consequences are real.
A Storyline Steeped in Folklore
Harvest Hunt’s narrative is rich European folklore, weaving a tapestry of terror that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Successfully completing Harvest Seasons with a character unlocks their lore, but beware – failing to do so leaves the ending incomplete. There always seems to be something new to uncover in Harvest Hunt, even after you think you’ve seen it all. The depth of the game’s characters and story kept me hooked through each playthrough… Well, when I wasn’t hiding behind a stuffed animal, that is. Please stop sending me scary games™ I’m just a lil guy.
As you progress, you’ll unlock various tools and abilities to help you survive the night. Struggling with Vigor? Grab a Vigor Elixir. Poison getting you down? The Antitoxin Tool has got you covered. Want to track the Devourer? Use the Monster Vane Tool to triangulate its position. All these different play styles keep the game fresh throughout. Accompanied by the Whispers system, Harvest Hunt offers hundreds of gameplay choices, making each journey a unique odyssey into the heart of fear.
