Endgame Gear’s First Keyboard

Endgame Gear KB65HE Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard
KB65HE Gaming Platform
The Endgame Gear KB65HE has three main features that make it the ultimate gaming platform. Each on their own is a game-changer, but together they provide the mechanics you need to dominate the battlefield. So much so, that this gaming keyboard isn’t suited for general and mixed use. This will be your secret weapon for gaming.
Enough waffle, these key features are Hall Effect Technology, Gateron KS-37B switches, and Rapid Trigger Technology.
Hall Effect Technology
This bit is so important, it made it into the name! The Hall Effect tech registers each keystroke with a state-of-the-art sensor. This responds to changes in the magnetic field, so there are no physical parts that make contact in the process. As a result, you can enjoy greater component longevity and the boost to accuracy it provides. Even when you are in the zone, heat of the battle, hitting those keys as fast as you can.
On top of this, you can adjust the actuation point, fine-tuning the moment each keystroke registers to best suit your gameplay style, preferences, or even genre. The actuation distance can be configured between 0.1mm and 4mm, for ultra-rapid keystrokes or more deliberate presses. The KB65HE is yours to customise!
Gateron KS-37B Switches
The Hall Effect principle really comes into play with the Gateron KS-37B switches. Rather than mechanical switches, like you typically find on gaming keyboards, these are magnetic with a dual-rail structure. Stable and durable, these switches provide ultra-smooth action and a swift rebound. Plus, they are incredibly light, needing just 30gf to actuate and 50gf to bottom out. Perfect for fast-paced gaming!
Better yet, they have premium build quality too, once more boosting component longevity. The spring is manufactured from stainless steel and comes pre-lubed, whilst the POM material used in the casing is self-lubricating. No scratchy keystrokes here!
Rapid Trigger Technology
What can I say about Rapid Trigger Technology that the name doesn’t already cover? It pretty much does exactly what it says on the tin. This innovative ensures lightning-fast response times and high precision. Just the trick you need hidden up your sleeve to conquer your foes.
RGB and Customisation
The great features don’t stop there either. We already know the Endgame Gear KB65HE is beautifully illuminated by RGB lighting, and this can be configured per-key for the most stunning effects. Everything you need to make the KB65HE your fine-tuned gaming machine can be found in the KB65HE Configuration Software.
This is where you’ll adjust actuation and customise the lighting. On top of that, you can map key bindings and it offers a one-stop shop for updating firmware and software. In the coming future, there will also be support for mapping macros in this software. Did somebody say, “unparalleled customisation and functionality”?
What’s more, core configurations can be made without even downloading the software, for greater flexibility and ease of use. Endgame Gear, you do spoil us so.
Premium Build
All of these fabulous gaming features are packed into a stylish, minimalist bezel. The frame is manufactured from a single block of aluminium, CNC machined into a sleek shape with rounded corners. The underside features a silicon grip, keeping the KB65HE firmly in place during the heat of battle. What’s more, two sets of angled feet are included within the scope of delivery, to enhance your comfort as you need it. The pre-installed set are at a 5-degree angle and the second pair sit at 7.5-degrees.
The classic black keycaps are double-shot injection moulded from PBT plastic. This is a great material for keycaps as it is highly durable and resists the shine, wear, and tear that comes with general use. Cheeky cherry on top? They were designed in collaboration with Ducky and feature their signature frosted texture to enhance grip.
Finally, it all connects to your gaming PC via USB-A. Of course, you even have configuration powers here, as you can customise the polling rate, too. By default, it is 1000Hz, but can be set as 125Hz, 250Hz, or 500Hz depending on your needs.
Get The Competitive Edge
If dominating the playing field is one of your 2024 goals, then the Endgame Gear KB65HE is an absolute must for you. Good job it’s available right now from Overclockers UK!
Endgame Gear KB65HE Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard
- 65% keyboard optimised for gaming, not mixed use
- Hall Effect technology and magnetic Gateron switches
- Customise in KB65HE Configuration Software
- Per-key RGB lighting
- UK ISO layout
Nice keyboard. Just got it today. Feels and sounds good. If i was being picky I’d say the legends on Del, Pgup, Pgdn are not as clear. And i cant see how to customise the lighting per key. Maybe i’m being thick. All in all, quality like this usually costs quite a bit more
Great to see you’re happy with the KB65HE!
For the RGB lighting, it’s best to use the KB65HE Configuration Software for finer control. But the quick shortcuts are:
Fn + Q / E = Speed
Fn + A / D = Brightness
Fn + w = Colour
Fn + S = Mode
Yes i downloaded that but all i can see is a bunch of presets and the possibility to change ALL the keys to your preferred colour. I kinda expected to be able to assign colours to individual keys like on my Duegod Venus. Not a big deal really.
