How to Optimise Your Graphics Settings for Portal with RTX:
To truly enjoy playing Portal with RTX this Chocolate Cake Day, you can make adjustments to optimise your graphics settings.
All of this graphical optimisation can be easily achieved through the GeForce Experience. This built-in tool which comes with every NVIDIA graphics card will keep your GPU drivers up-to-date, automatically enhance your in-game settings, and much more.
To configure the settings for Portal with RTX, all you need to do is download and update the latest game ready drivers, find Portal with RTX and click ‘Optimise’. This will automatically find the best image quality and performance settings for your graphics card.
In addition to this, you can also adjust your graphics settings in-game. To do this, press Alt-X and open the Remix graphics window.
These settings are responsible for ensuring high-quality frame rates whilst maintaining steady performance. It is recommended, however, that you don’t adjust the Portal ‘video-advanced’ settings. This may lead to instability whilst in-game.
