Lian Li DK07: The Ultimate PC Case Desk

The Lian Li DK07 is both an electric desk and a PC case, in one premium, modular package. Designed for gamers and professionals, this desk provides ample space to work from and support for a dual PC system. Does your desk suddenly sound inadequate? Same.

DK07: As a Desk

As a desk, the Lian Li DK07 provides a spacious platform – measuring 1480mm by 805mm. The frame and PC case extrusion are manufactured from aluminium, and the 2mm desktop panels feature a brushed finish. Between these is a 6mm tempered glass panel offering an incredible view of the hardware within. To provide additional support, there are leg stabilisers anchoring the PC extrusion to the desk legs. As a result, this desk can support up to 100kg in weight.

To enhance ergonomics, this desk is height adjustable. For convenience, the controls are electric, and the screen can be locked to prevent accidental adjustments caused by stray paws. (Lian Li gets it.) The DK07 can be adjusted in height incrementally anywhere between 676mm and 1162mm using the up/down arrows. The height can be displayed in either centimetres or inches, whichever is your preference. What’s more, you have the option to save three different height settings and seamlessly switch between them with the press of a button.

On top of this, the Lian Li DK07 has some great organisational features, including built-in cable clips throughout the PC case and a cable tray at the back of the desk. There will be no messy wiring drooping onto your floor! Plus, the two spacious drawers include removable trays that help prevent your bits and bobs from getting jumbled up.

Finally, there is a wireless charging pad that doubles up as a USB port. When depressed into the desk, you can charge your compatible devices wirelessly. Alternatively, it can extend from the desk to reveal a USB-C and USB Type-A port instead.

We love a versatile workspace!

Single vs Dual System

The Lian Li DK07 is, however, more than just a desk. It features an aluminium extrusion that can support a single- or dual-system gaming PC. Clearly not doing anything by halves, here!

To achieve this, the Lian Li DK07 utilises an intelligent modular design, where motherboard trays and brackets fit seamlessly together to create the foundation for either type of gaming PC. There are two motherboard trays included with the Lian Li DK07, each supporting up to the E-ATX form factor (330mm max.). You can use just the one for a single system or lay them side-by-side to create a dual PC.

These trays feature a back panel with rotatable expansion slots, a fan mount, and space for the motherboard I/O. They also have modular cable concealing brackets that can be moved about to accommodate your hardware. (Please note, they cannot be used with E-ATX motherboards.)

In both single- and dual-system set-ups, there is 383mm clearance for GPUs. Thanks to the rotatable expansion slots, you can choose to mount the graphics card either horizontally or vertically (riser cable sold separately). For your power supplies, there are brackets located in the top left and right corners for ATX PSUs.

Cooling and Storage

The modular design truly comes into its element with the cooling and storage hardware brackets. In a single system, you can utilise these to install up to seventeen fans or sixteen storage drives, whereas in a dual-system it’s twelve and fourteen, respectively.

Naturally, you can choose between what you install, creating a balance of airflow and storage capacity to suit your needs. The following table details where the brackets are and what they can hold. We also have images demonstrating the different set-ups (click to expand!).
