The shape shifter

The Odyssey X offers a straightforward way for users to ‘transform’ the case to match their preferred configuration – way easier than turning that Optimus Prime you got for Christmas into a lorry for instance.

The Odyssey X has three modes: Dynamic, Dynamic-R(Rotate), and Performance. The default configuration is Dynamic, with the others easily accessible. Simply rotate the motherboard tray for the Dynamic-R mode or rotate the case itself 90 degrees for the Performance configuration. As PC enthusiasts have come to expect from Lian Li, the Odyssey X is made from high-end materials. It has been constructed from an anodised aluminium that has been sandblasted to achieve a premium finish. Indeed, in the Dynamic modes, users have two options for mounting the aluminium front panels, allowing for further aesthetic customisation.

Even the tinted tempered glass side panels impart a unique look since they are mounted in a novel dual configuration. As a result of its unique design, the Odyssey X has also been optimised for airflow with multiple openings and inlets promoting the circulation of air.
