Last year Lian Li successfully launched the Strimer – the world’s first power extension cable with integrated RGB LED illumination. It did so well that Lian Li are following it up with two new extension cables: the Strimer Plus 24-pin and the Strimer Plus 8-pin.

The Strimer Plus 24-pin includes a standard 24 pin connector and is intended for use with motherboards. While the 8-pin variant is meant for GPUs

Like their predecessor, both extension cables can generate outstanding colours and illumination effects with the 24 pin having a total of 120 LEDs and the 8 pin having 108.

Easy installation and Addressable LEDs

Bundled with the Strimer Plus 24-pin is a controller unit for the LED Lighting. Dedicated buttons let users adjust the LEDs’ mode, speed, colour and brightness levels. Alternatively the LEDs can be addressed by the motherboard. Simply attached the controller to a 3-pin 5V ARGB header on the motherboard.

The Strimer Plus 8-pin does not use a controller instead connects directly to the motherboard.

All in all the effects either Strimer Plus is capable of are unique and spectacular, making the Strimer Plus a great addition to your PC build.
