Lian Li UNI FAN TL – They’re Back with No Cable Baggage

Expanding the Range

The Lian Li Wireless Series initially launched with the phenomenal UNI FAN SL range, and they are now joined by the incredible UNI FAN TL line.

You might be wondering what you can expect from this lovely new addition to the wireless range? Well, how about the same phenomenal performance as the wired fans? Take, for example, the UNI FAN TL LED 120mm Reverse Blade model. It is still 28mm thick, providing superior performance to standard 25mm thick fans and comes equipped with a powerful motor that can reach speeds up to 2300RPM. At this speed, the fan will produce 83.4CFM of airflow at a static pressure of 2.66mmH2O, all whilst only producing 34dB(A) of noise.

In addition to their superb cooling, UNI FAN TL PWM fans feature beautiful styling. Each side boasts a captivating RGB infinity mirror, perfect for creating the illusion of depth. These are then framed by two RGB diffusers along the top and bottom edges. They stretch along the full length of the infinity mirror and wrap around the screw mounting points, meaning the UNI FAN TL Wireless will look great from any angle.

That’s not all though, because UNI FAN TL fans come in two types: LED and LCD. This means select models come with a small LCD screen in their fan hub. This can be used to display pictures, GIFs, and even video clips, to uniquely customise your PC’s aesthetic.

Innovative Connectivity

Alongside delivering amazing cooling performance, a Lian Li UNI FAN TL is also easy to install and simple to control. This is thanks to Lian Li’s innovative wireless technology. Instead of receiving control signals for fan speeds and RGB lighting effects via a cable, these fans use a wireless 2.4GHz signal transmitted by a Lian Li L-Wireless controller. Up to forty fans, yes you read that right, forty fans can be controlled simultaneously.

What’s more, you can control a combination of devices. The L-Wireless controller is compatible with the UNI FAN TL fans, the previously released UNI FAN SL range, and the Stimer Wireless cables.

A Simple Update

To coincide with the launch of the UNI FAN TL Wireless, Lian Li has also refreshed their L-Wireless controller with a new version. Now are you sitting comfortably? This is some huge news; I don’t want you falling and hurting yourself. They put an extra cable in the box!

Yes, alongside the USB cable originally included with the controller, the V2 includes a 1-to-3 PWM-to-SATA cable. This isn’t even for the controller itself; it’s included so that Wireless series fans are compatible with a wider range of hardware.

If you connect a UNI FAN TL Wireless fan to your motherboard and its RGB flickers, then the header it is connected to cannot provide the 1A of power required. With this cable, you can connect up to three fans to a single SATA connector, providing sufficient power to ensure stable performance.
