The Lian Li O11 Vision Chrome is a special edition chassis designed by both Lian Li and PCMR. As such, it boasts many of the same innovative concepts as the original O11 Vision, including the dual chamber design, three tempered glass panels, and no supporting struts.
However, the O11 Vision Chrome has had some careful attention paid to how it looks, making it the ideal centrepiece for your gaming setup. The tempered glass panels aren’t just transparent, not even smoked, they’ve been made into one-way mirrors.
But why would you want this? Any light produced in your case can escape, whilst everything else is masked. Just imagine a gaming PC fully equipped with multiple pieces of RGB hardware, such as fans, CPU blocks, GPUs, RAM, and even cables. All that lighting will seem to hang in mid-air in the O11 Vision for a truly distinct aesthetic. It also helps to hide all manners of building mishaps. You’ll be able to build a true powerhouse gaming PC, as the main chamber provides ample room for installing modern gaming hardware. The motherboard tray can be removed, allowing for the easy installation of core components, including the motherboard, CPU, RAM, air cooler, and even your GPU.
What’s more, there is plenty of space for larger components. Have you got a high-end E-ATX motherboard? If it’s 280mm wide or under, it’ll fit. A large GPU? The O11 Vision Chrome has clearance for 455mm long cards, so no problem. A fan of air cooling? Well, with 167mm clearance, slap a tower cooler in and keep your CPU at optimum temperatures. Want to go for a custom water-cooling solution? There are options for mounting multiple radiators up to 360mm long and space for seven fans, go crazy.
And that’s just the main chamber! The second chamber also has plenty of room for hardware and all your cables. In this compartment, you can mount up to five storage drives. Three 2.5″ SSDs go on a removable cable management bar, and there is a drive cage that can accommodate either two 3.5″ HDDs or 2.5″ SSDs. Alongside this, the O11 Vision Chrome has space for a ATX power supply up to 220mm long. The mounting point for the PSU extends 15mm from the back of the chassis, which provides extra room for cable management.
Speaking of which, keeping your cables tidy is easy with the Lian Li O11 Vision Chrome, thanks to two dual-layer cable clips. They help to create clean runs for both your bulky and delicate wiring.
