The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom

The Elder Scrolls Online is back with new content, Necrom Shadow over Morrowind. It is definitely time to dig out our maps of Tamriel once more and get exploring!

New Elder Scrolls Online DLC: Necrom Shadow over Morrowind

This latest DLC brings with it a compelling new chapter in the ESO story as well as a new class, locations, and companions to unlock. Available from June 5th, we’re taking a closer look at Necrom and all its shiny fresh content. What secrets does the Telvanni Peninsula hold?

Necrom Shadow over Morrowind

The Necrom chapter of Shadow over Morrowind will take us on a deep dive into the lore of Dark Elves, Aprocrypha, and the Deadric Prince of Knowledge. The Morrowind map has expanded, giving us the Telvanni Peninsula and Aprocrypha, the realm of Oblivion, to explore. More than just beautiful rolling hills, these new areas are unique worlds featuring giant mushrooms and jagged rock formations.

There is roughly 30 hours of new story to play out. A mysterious threat to the Deadric Prince’s darkest secrets leads you to become an agent of Hermaeus Mora and investigate. A vast conspiracy that will endanger Nirn and Oblivion is afoot, and you must seek lost knowledge in the City of the Dead. Familiar faces will return as you delve into this conundrum, including the fan favourite Morag Tong assassin, Naryu, and the High Elf mage, Leramil.

Necrom is set to be Tamriel’s next, exciting adventure.

This magic-based class is empowered by the secrets of Apocrypha, allowing you to wield restorative, defensive, and destructive magic in battle. Your ability is channelled through the arcane, lost tomes of power, and ancient runes.

There are also two new companions to ally yourself with; the Archanist Redguard and Argonian Warden. Each brings their own skill set to your party as you travel these new, foreboding realms of Tamriel.
