Bethesda Softworks has been around since the dawn of video gaming and the company published it’s first title back in 1986. In the past 30+ years, they’ve created many huge blockbuster franchises such as The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein, Dishonoured, Prey and Rage. It’s safe to say if you’ve owned a gaming PC or Console you’ve likely played and fallen in love with at least one of their games.
With such epic titles it’s only natural you might want to take your appreciation beyond the game and there’s no better way than to create an awesome themed PC or gaming setup. noblechairs have a history of creating stylish award-winning chairs and the company has just announced they are teaming up with Bethesda to manufacture officially licensed gaming chairs. This means we are going to see designs for Fallout, Doom, The Elder Scrolls, Rage, Wolfenstein and any other future releases.
As a huge fan of Fallout and Bethesda’s various other properties, it’s a dream come true to be able to pair the premium quality and ergonomics of noblechairs with one of the greatest game designers around. Welcome home!
– Glen Rhodes, Senior Product Manager at noblechairs
The chairs have been designed to take distinctive elements from each game and mix recognisable colour schemes with graphics, logos, and characters making them a must-have for enthusiasts and fans of each franchise. The final designs are currently in progress but the first chairs will soon be available with DOOM and Fallout editions launching in Q2 2020.
There are currently no official images of the DOOM edition chair but it will predominantly be military green with subtle accents throughout that match the DOOM theme. On the headrest, the DOOM logo will be stitched in white and the back will feature the DOOM Slayer’s Club logo. The backrest is adorned with the Slayer Glyph in blood-red making this the perfect chair for the ultimate demon slayer.
The official design for the Fallout series chair has been released with the main feature being the very recognisable Vault boy and Vault tech logos on the front and rear of the chair. As you can see there is plenty of blue and yellow to match the famous colour scheme and the chair wouldn’t be complete without “Prepare for the Future” emblazoned on the backrest.
Bethesda is one of the industry’s most respected and accomplished game studios in the world. A partnership with a global high-end gaming chair brand is a great match for those who want to play games in comfort. I’m looking forward to seeing the final designs in the flesh, rip and tear!
