The Insomnia Gaming Festival i56 is over and it was a massive success, for us the planning and preparation for the event started months ago, knowing that we were moving to the NEC in Birmingham! We didn’t know what to expect due to being a new venue, and we have to say… We were very impressed!
We had a huge stand at the event (including an inflatable giraffe!) in the exhibition hall displaying all of the latest hardware from 8Pack, ASUS, Seagate, COUGAR, Intel, Acer, Aorus, AMD Radeon, BenQ, be quiet!, HyperX, Sapphire, Steelseries, Vertagear and even more!
Our famous Delivery To Your Desk service was running throughout the event, giving the gamers in the BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) hall the possibility to order anything from the Overclockers UK website, and have it delivered to their own desk at the event with FREE SAME DAY delivery! – This is great for the gamers that wanted to buy a treat at the event or for those who had an upgrade itch and wanted to upgrade their hardware right there and then!
8Pack was at the event showing off his elite tier Supernova, answering all of the questions on extreme overclocking and extreme systems, many visitors were also taking a photographs with him and his new extreme system.
With the 8Pack Supernova being the leading PC when it comes to performance and power, this mighty PC was on display along with a massive range of gaming PCs ranged from £450-£2000, below you will be able to see the range of PCs that were on display at the event!
Overclockers UK’s sponsor; phantasy dropped by our stand over the weekend, he played some Counter Strike: Global Offensive showing us all how it is done! – He may have eaten a lot of Haribo too, in fact everyone that visited our stand ate many Haribo that we gave out!
We would like to give a big thank you to everyone that attended, especially the Multiplay staff and the volunteers, they do so much work over the long weekend to make this happen, thank you to you all from Overclockers UK, and we’ll see you next year!
Our Aftermovie is out, check it out on YouTube here!
