Customise your Roman Legatus to your liking, and set out to engage in turn-based combat alongside your companions. Each of them is unique, with backstories to explore, and can be leveled up and customised alongside you. Not only will you fight alongside your companions, but you will also be commanding your ever-growing army. Mass combat scenarios unfold alongside extensive war campaigns as you exploit resources to build your forces. Whether deciding on a plan of attack or charming new allies to your cause, your choices will matter. And in ways beyond just living your best Paragon or Renegade life.
Death or Glory DLC
Expand your Roman gameplay with Death or Glory. This DLC lets you don the armour of a gladiator and take to the fighting arena.
Naturally, a Gladiator character class has been added, with three sub-classes and a full set of 24 skills offering new ways to experience the branching narrative. You can choose to play as a gladiator yourself, make one of your champions a gladiator, or recruit new ones to be part of your praetorian guard.
Death or Glory adds a unique arena and questline to each region featured in the campaign. There’ll be memorable champions and fearsome new foes to face on the battlefield. You must defeat three champions, which will grant you access to randomised arena fights. To keep the combat interesting, arena battles have a new Audience Approval system, so you must put on a gory show!
In addition to this, Death or Glory adds new weapons, traps, armour, and colour schemes and emblems for your guard.
