The APNX V1

Straight off the bat, the APNX V1 has a unique footprint, thanks to its angled front intake. This feature is both form and function, which we will get into properly later. For now, we’re just here to admire the aesthetics.

V1 Cooling

The APNX V1 has seriously optimised thermals, making it a great case for gamers, content creators, and streamers. Typically, a panoramic PC case will mount a fan intake next to the motherboard tray, for acceptable airflow. The APNX V1 has angled this intake, moving it to the front by 45-degrees. As a result, you get a much more natural flow of air through the case, and you get to keep that uninterrupted view of your prized hardware. The top panel ventilation even mirrors the air’s path for a stylish yet functional touch.

On top of this, there is comprehensive support for fans and radiators across the panelling and 170mm clearance for CPU coolers. Here’s a cheeky table with a full breakdown:

V1 Features

The APNX V1 has a dual-chamber design, so you can proudly show-off your hardware without cable clutter. The front chamber has a few innovative features, to optimise the layout of your components and promote yet more enhanced airflow.

Primarily, the motherboard can be mounted in one of two positions. The lower position creates more space at the top and allows for thicker radiators there, optimising airflow for your CPU. At the higher position, the top and bottom spaces are more even, which enhances cooling from the bottom for the GPU whilst still leaving plenty of space for radiators at the top.

With GPUs being quite large currently, an adjustable GPU mount is included. This supports graphics cards up to 395mm long and can be adjusted by height and swivel. Even those heavy GPUs will stay well supported and sag will be prevented.

Rear Chamber

Moving to the rear chamber, this area features clear channels and fasteners to help with your cable routing. The PSU mounts on a dedicated shelf, which can accommodate ATX power supplies up to 220mm long. Below this is a hinged, removeable storage bracket which can support either two 3.5” and four 2.5” drives or up to six 2.5” drives. We do love a good flexible storage solution!

While the I/O panel is seated onto the angled front panel, its cabling feeds back into the rear chamber. This panel includes a USB-C and two USB-A ports with an audio/mic jack.
