What is the TechForge DRGB Light Box?
The TechForge DRGB Light Box is packed with up to 90 DRGB LEDs, depending on the compatible model, and they are arranged in four channels. These can be individually addressed and even layered up, to create truly unique effects that are all your own. We really mean it when we say personalise your play!
The TechForge DRGB Light Box can be synchronised with all your existing DRGB devices and is compatible with most lighting software, making for easy integration. Plus, it is equipped with relative positioning and continuous effects. This means you can start an effect from one point of your gaming PC and watch it ripple across the light box and all your devices!

Compatible Cases
We have TechForge DRGB Light Boxes built for a tasty selection of popular PC cases. Some light boxes will fit a few different cases, whilst most are designed for a specific series. Currently, we have models for the following PC cases:
- Corsair 4000D, 5000D, and 7000D in both black and white variants
- Phanteks Evolv, P600, G500, P400, G360A, XT View, NV5, and NV7 series, in both black and white variants
- Lian Li O11D / XL, O11D EVO / XL, and Lancool 216

Each model contains all the necessary accessories for installation, including providing the cables for connecting either via your motherboard or DRGB controller.
Please note, the Corsair light boxes require an iCUE adapter to fully utilise Corsair iCUE software. These can be purchased separately.

How to Install the TechForge DRGB Light Box
The cherry on top of all this RGB goodness? The TechForge DRGB Light Box is heckin’ easy to install. Got to love it! Simply follow these instructions to get mind-boggling lighting in your gaming PC.
- Make sure your gaming PC is turned off and unplugged before removing the side panel.
- Carefully remove the TechForge DRGB Light Box and accessories from all packaging.
- Mount to the bottom of your PC case – being mindful of your components and airflow.
- Choose whether you want to connect to your motherboard or dedicated controller.
- If you’re connecting to the motherboard: plug the 3-pin DRGB cable into the DRGB header. If you’ve gone for the dedicated controller: connect using the dedicated 3-pin ARGB cable provided.
- To secure the light box in place, apply the included double-sided sticky tape to the underside of the device.
- Then, peel away the protective backing and firmly press the light box into place. These last two steps are optional but advised.
- Replace your case’s side panel and power up your PC – this is to check the connections are secure and your lighting is functional.
- Lighting effects can then be adjusted using your chosen compatible software.
- Stand back and enjoy the show!
