The Evolv Shift 2 is a new Mini-ITX case. It has a unique ultra-vertical form factor, which means it can hold many components while still having a small desk footprint
Components are vertically mounted in this case, meaning that ports on the motherboard and GPU are accessed from the top of the case. This does not however spoil the look of the case as a grill cover on the top though ensures a clean aesthetic as well as protecting the ports.
A stylish look and optimised for air flow
Available in two variants (grey and black), the Evolv Shift 2 features a tempered glass side panel and comes bundled with a PWM D-RGB 120mm fan. This enables users to showcase any components they have fitted inside the case. The Evolv Shift 2 Air (also available in grey or black) on the other had eschewed tempered glass in favour of a mesh fabric side panel. This gives it a slightly different look and offers enhanced air flow and dust filtration. To reflect this emphasis, the Air model comes with a PWM 120mm fan.
Impressive internal capacity
Not only does the Phanteks Evolv shift look fantastic but it has many great features. For instance, there is sufficient clearance for a GPU up to 355mm and CPU cooler of up to 85mm.
Additionally, there is capacity for up to seven 120mm/140mm fans. As well as one 3.5″ drive with two 2.5″ additional or up to four 2.5″ drives. There is also support for a 120 mm AIO cooler.
