Placing an emphasis on power efficiency and prolonged stability, Super Flower has refreshed their Leadex Gold Series PSUs, now known as the Leadex II Gold Series. Incorporating a wealth of improvements in the construction and materials of internal components, the latest models will feature 100% Japanese capacitors on the PCB and 100% Taiwan A Grade capacitors on the modular back panels. This provides sustainability for prolonged durations of use with operating temperatures rated for 105℃.
Integrating a multitude of power protection features, should there be an external interruption causing loss of power on the system, the PSU makes the necessary procedures in the form of Over and Under Voltage Protection, Over Current and Over Power Protection, Short Circuit and Over Temperature Protection. As these units are rated for 80+ Gold, 87% efficiency at 100% load is where the PSUs will be able to operate.
Available in configurations of 650W, 750W, 850W, 1000W and 1200W, the only differences between each of the units reside to the amount of physical connectors being available for hardware, with the minimum unit being SLI and CrossFire ready, and the maximum unit being ample for 4-way multi-GPU configurations. The implementation that Super Flower has taken to power efficiency is targeted directly towards the overclockers, along with a fully modular cabling design built with On and Off switches for LED illumination, these power supplies do not only perform sufficiently, they also look stylish when they’re in action.
