Thank Goodness You’re Here! Gameplay

Developed by British Studio Coal Supper, Thank Goodness You’re Here! is a self-styled slapformer. Set in the northern town of Barnsworth (really emphasise that “ah” vowel sound), you play as a tiny travelling salesman. Take in the sights, meet the locals, and help out with odd jobs around town. Now, Barnsworth is an odd place, and the jobs will get increasingly more bizarre.

If you’re still not sold, I have two words for you: Matt. Berry.

Thank Goodness You’re Here! is hand-drawn and fully voiced, showcasing some incredible British talent on both fronts. With its vibrant art style and colourful characters, this game has the feel of “the Beano come to life”. There are plenty of wacky situations to find yourself in!

Help with some gardening or the laundry, your small size will make each job an interesting task. Perhaps at the end of the day, you’ll be able to kick back and relax with a tin of peans and one of Big Ron’s Big Pies.
