Dating sims offer great replayability and are the perfect game to boot up with Cupid hanging about. With so many singles and endings, it’s an easy genre to come back to time and time again. So, we’ve asked around the office and put together this list of our favourite dating sims!

Doomsday Paradise
Doomsday Paradise ticks all the right boxes. From its queer-inclusive cast to dark, end-of-the-world humour, it is the fever dream you’ll want to play again and again. The apocalypse is upon us, and you have a limited number of days to find love. No one wants to experience a doomsday event single, after all. There are thirteen singles to choose from, over 100 different endings, and over 400 goofy scenarios to experience.
While chatting up the hotties is the main gameplay, between flirting sessions you can study, party, work out, and more! Plus, there’s the whole “end of the world” element, so occasionally you’ll have to head into combat against various demons and monsters. This uses a simple card-based system that is easy to master. All the more time for flirting and maybe stopping the apocalypse?

Monster Prom
It’s time to head back to school, and find a date for prom. Only, you are legit monsters and only have got three weeks to convince your crush that you’re the Prom King or Queen of their heart. Every choice matters in Monster Prom and can mean the difference between dancing the night away or standing lonely in the corner. So, you have to increase your stats alongside flexing those flirting muscles.
There are six fully-fledged singles to choose from, and you are not confined by gender in your choice either. Plus, there are over 1000 possible scenarios to encounter, making this a dating sim to replay to your heart’s content. For those who are more into Galentine’s or Palentine’s, Monster Prom is a great game to bring to those celebrations, too, as it features a competitive multiplayer mode for up to four monsters.

Date Everything!
Perhaps you like your dating sims to be a little more unhinged. Date Everything! is a sandbox dating sim where you can, well, date everything. You are sent a pair of mysterious “dateviators”, which makes all the objects in your house come alive and dateable! Romance the buff Shelley Shelf, adorable Timothy Timepiece Clock, thirst-trap Henry Hoove Vacuum Cleaner, or any of the 100 dateable characters. Each has at least three possible endings and are fully voice acted with branching narratives. Talk about replayability!
Speaking of being voice acted, Date Everything! has a veritable cast of who’s-who voice actors, including Grey DeLisle (Scooby-Doo, Avatar the Last Airbender), Felicia Day (Supernatural, The Magicians), Johnny Yong Bosch (Bleach, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers), and so many more! My first playthrough, I am definitely picking the object voiced by Azula, just saying!
Date Everything! is available to play from February 14th 2025. It’s happened, again, and in the same post and everything! If I had a nickel for every time a dating sim I’d written about got delayed from Valentine’s… Well, I’d have two nickels, but it’s strange that it happened twice.
Date Everything! has officially been delayed until June 2025. While the game content is essentially completed, the sprawling narrative branches have not been thoroughly tested and the devs want to ensure that the only bugs we’ll be dealing with are love bugs. It may be a shame that we won’t get to try Date Everything! in time for Valentine’s, but we certainly appreciate getting a fully formed game rather than something riddled with glitches. So, swings and roundabouts, I guess.

Boyfriend Dungeon
Boyfriend Dungeon brings a little adventure to the dating scene. In this “shack and slash” game, you are tasked with clearing a dungeon for a little extra cash over the summer. Whilst battling the strange creatures lurking in “the dunj”, you discover various weapons that also transform into bona fide cuties. It’s a summer love just waiting to happen (I guess?)! There are ten weapons to discover, with nine bae blades to date or befriend without restrictions on gender. Plus, there is a set of brass knuckles that turns into a cat. Because who doesn’t love to give cats scritches. (Thankfully, you can’t date the cat.)
As your relationships – whether romantic or platonic – develop with the bae blades, you can master the different combat styles they offer. Battles in the dunj are action-packed and there are plenty of challenges to be had, too. When you’re not dungeon crawling, you can take your new boo for romantic outings to the club, beach, and more.

Sucker For Love: Date to Die For
Our last pick was originally going to drop on Valentine’s Day 2024 – too perfect of an opportunity to pass up, really! It was delayed and then released on April 23rd 2024. Besides, there are previous titles from the Sucker for Love catalogue to peruse if you want more.
Put the love back in Lovecraftian, with Sucker for Love: Date to Die For. Inspired by 90’s anime and the Lovecraft mythos, this visual novel style dating sim has cultists, dangerous rituals, and, of course, sexy singles.
Strange happenings are occurring in your hometown, and it’s up to you to figure it all out. Even when you get kidnapped and trapped in labyrinthine woods. The whole town is trapped in an all-consuming aura of love for Rhok’zan, The Black Goat of the Woods, too. Armed with the cultist’s magic spell book, all your choices matter as there are multiple different endings to uncover. You can even date Rhok’zan.
