Do you have what it takes to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with your brothers to defend civilisation against the radiated threat of the Wasteland? If so, you’re the perfect new addition to the squad in Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel.
If you’re ready to take arms and defend the weak, we’ve got everything you need to know about Fallout Tactics, including all the gameplay details, official specs, and our top PCs to play.
Tactical Gameplay
You may have been born from dirt but as a fresh new initiate to the Brotherhood, you can be forged into steel. The Brotherhood is all that remains between civilisation and the deadly radiated wasteland, and you must work hard to defend the last few strands of humanity.
Begin your life as a recruit, by venturing across the Wasteland on the hunt for pieces of lost technology, which might just hold the key to defeating a powerful enemy. In every mission, you control up to six key characters as you put your skills to the test and battle it against various threats and obstacles.
Whether you are battling ghouls, mutants, or other hordes of radioactive nightmares, you’ll always be outnumbered. Your arsenal of weaponry, including handguns and rocket launchers, will be your number one ally. No matter what stands in front of you, you must remember your sworn oath to the Brotherhood.
Where Does Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel Fall in the Timeline?
Fallout Tactics takes place between 2197 and 2918 which is 36 years after the original Fallout game. It is the first game in the franchise to focus on the Brotherhood of Steel faction.
Does Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel Include Multiplayer?
Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is the first game in the series to include multiplayer. Get the squad together to go head-to-head against the opposing team, earning points which can be redeemed for critical gear or a new member.
There are four different game modes in multiplayer. This includes:
- Assault – One team plays as defensive, the other as attackers. The attackers must throw a switch in the opposing base to win, and the defenders must stop this from happening.
- Capture the Flag – Players go against each other to capture an object and deliver it to their base.
- Skirmish – All-out chaos in which you must simply destroy the other team’s base.
- Scavenger Hunt – Players are tasked with collecting items randomly placed on the map. You must find more items than the opposing team to win.
As Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is a PC exclusive only, there is no support for crossplay.
