The Raijintek Asterion Plus & Asterion Classic

Bringing competition to the high-end of the market , Raijintek has launched two new E-ATX size chassis – The Raijintek Asterion Plus & The Asterion Classic.

Straying further away from the visual theme which earlier products portrayed, Raijintek’s newest cases hold more in common with the elegant aesthetics set by their most recent designs. Raijintek’s latest chassis certainly catch the eye –  looking rather distinct while adopting more modern design traits, the visual transition from “Gamer With Attitude” to “Minimalistic Sophistication” is evident.

Making use of dual transparent side-panels with the only differing factor between the two models being a hinged-door – with acrylic windows on the Plus, and a tempered glass construction on the Asterion Classic – both chassis do well to stand-out amongst themselves all the while catering to personal preferences.

Taking a simplistic approach to the brushed aluminium front-panels, connectivity options include USB 3.0, headphone and audio jacks, and a power button. Rounding things off with Raijintek’s signature logo and a slot-loading drive on the Asterion Plus, both models deliver a visual styling that’s both sleek and classy, despite their large form factors.

Supporting up to 5* 3.5-inch drives and 2* 2.5-inch drives simultaneously, along with enough clearance for watercooling equipment and full-length graphics cards, this is largely due to the aspects of modularity given to the adjustable harddrive cage.
