Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games this year. It’s been delayed several times by CD Projekt Red, but with November 19th fast approaching it won’t be long before we’re finally able to explore the streets of Night City. This vast open-world game is complex and detailed with realistic graphics and lighting which means you’ll need some decent PC hardware to run the game in all it’s glory.

What are the PC specifications for Cyberpunk 2077?

On the 18th of September via twitter and the latest Night City wire episode, CD Projekt red announced the minimum and recommended specifications needed for PC gamers. You can watch the full episode below and check out the list of specifications.

The minimum specifications reveal that you won’t need a cybernetically enhanced PC for Cyberpunk 2077 to run at some level. There’s not a huge amount of detail about what these specs will get you in terms of performance but CD Projekt red did say it was created with Low settings and 1080p gaming in mind. With a CPU from 2012 and a pair of dated GPUs, it’s likely you’ll be looking at 30fps. You won’t be able to experience the incredible aesthetics and if you’re on a tight budget it might be worth picking up the game on PS4 or Xbox one instead.

The recommended specifications are surprisingly modest and CD Projekt red did say they were created with High and 1080p settings in mind. I’d also expect you will get about 30fps-60fps in what looks to be a very demanding game. These recommended specifications will never be able to handle raytracing, 1440p or 100fps+. I’m sure this is the sort of performance and experience most PC gamers are going to aim for. After all the developers have spent a lot of time bringing the megalopolis to life and we want the gameplay experience we’ve seen in the tantalising trailers and stunning showcases. CD Projekt has never held back on giving your PC a beating when it comes to graphical requirements and it’s likely Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be no different when it comes to 4K resolution and Ultra graphical settings.
