Insomnia may be over, but at least we can now sleep and look back at all the awesome stuff OcUK got up to and some of the overall highlights from the event.

Intel Arc Graphics!

We’ve finally had a chance to see Intel’s upcoming ARC GPUs. Alongside ARC graphics cards, there was also a whole host of Intel-powered PCs and laptops to drool over. This included their Creator Series featuring twelfth generation Alder Lake CPUs.

Intel had the flagship A770 ARC GPU on display alongside the A750, playable in a custom arcade machine. For more ARC action, there was also the A770 running an F1 2022 race simulator with their fastest lap competition.

OcUK’s Briony got all the deets and a tour around the Intel stand in this video.

The OcUK Stand

In our humble opinion, the best part of Insomnia: The Overclockers UK stand… we’re not biased, we promise ?.

This year, we were back and bigger than ever with the stand featuring some incredible gaming PCs from 8Pack, Infin8, and the pre-built, pre-tested, and ready-to-ship Refract range. What’s more, the full Streamplify line-up was on show alongside a whole host of keyboards and mice from Glorious and Ducky.  More than just tech on show, we had an exclusive demo for people to try.

PC Building Simulator 2

That’s right, PC Building Simulator 2 was playable at the OcUK stand. Expanding on the first game, you’ll grow your empire as you learn to repair, build, and customise PCs at the next level.

The Claw

The vicious machine known for its ability to select only the true gamers. Stuffed with prizes from sweets to an RTX 3060 GPU and everything in between, including a streaming setup from Streamplify, The Claw was a massive hit. It will return to an event near you soon.
