Are you looking to upgrade to Intel 14th Gen? If so, this is the guide for you! We’ve put together everything you need to know about this generation of desktop processors, including each of the CPUs and all the hardware you need to upgrade.
We’re in for the long haul so grab some snacks and a cosy blanket.
Intel 14th Gen
Intel 14th Gen has been engineered with gamers in mind. Built with the hybrid architecture first introduced with their 12th Gen CPUs, these processors pack in even more intelligent P- and E-cores to power your multitasking and AAA gaming. The P-cores are primed for next-level gaming, delivering the power you need to enjoy immersive gameplay in all your favourite titles. Whereas the E-cores take charge of multitasking. Working alongside Intel Thread Director, the E-cores keep background tasks working efficiently, ensuring they don’t interrupt your gameplay.
Intel 14th Generation processors support the LGA 1700 socket and are compatible with both DDR4 and DDR5 RAM. Plus, thanks to PCIe 5.0, you can enjoy ultra-fast connectivity with all your high-end hardware, including the NVIDIA RTX 40 Series.
