Hi guys,

Have a two-zone thermostat system with Megaflo water tank and separate hot water controller.

Installing a Tado thermostat. The current thermostat is battery powered and has the below wiring guide:

Black wire is in middle slot. Black wire is in bottom slot.

Tado wiring diagram is as follows:

So, I followed the same - Black on NC and Brown on Com. The problem is this gives a constant call or heat - the valve is constantly lit up and the radiators send out heat. It doesn't matter if Tado is asking for heat or not.

Tado is v2 and is from my old house. It hasn't been used for over a year but I assume it isn't broken and is because of my wiring.

Any ideas?
Cheers!

Hi Kemik

I think you have it wire up wrong...
Think you need the wires from the boiler to NO and Com

Currently NC (normally Closed) is making your boiler call for heat..
If you connect to NO (Normally Open) You should be good.

This is how i have ours connected (worcester bosch)

Hi Rob,

Looks like i'm still having the same issue with black on NO and Brown on Com. Waiting on Tado to get back to me but they're taking their time.
