Came Swiftly And Quality Is As Expected If Not Better
by OzzyI was hesitant to buy a used motherboard, but after seeing the msrp of this board and knowing I would be dealing with a very reputable seller, I was willing to take the risk and I'm glad I did. I expected to be missing some accessories and maybe having a scratch mark or two. Not only did I get every accessory (instruction manuals, Wifi/Bluetooth antenna, Aorus sticker and SATA Cables) I also got all heatsinks for the nvme slots , albeit one of them being broken, but not a deal breaker as I expected some wear and tear along with the fact that I'm sure it is fixable; the NVME slot works perfectly finewithout the heatsink just that speeds will be slower. The only major damage to the motherboard and I'm being a little hyperbolic with saying that but the second motherboard fan header had one of the pins bent, now I imagine its probaby an easy fix and if I'm being honest is probably never going to be used due to me using a fan hub but thought i'd be worth mentioning. But do keep in mind that my experience may not be the same as yours as all boards have come from different places and will be slightly different to each-other. However do rest assured that you will be delivered a working board that is incredible for its price. To give a review of the motherboard itself, I will say that installation was a breeze and that the motherboard fit perfectly in my Corsair 4000d case, the audio quality is crisp, I have not heard any crackling or pops ( which used to happen on my old board when checking new nvidia drivers on nvidia experience), all ports work as they should and are protected by the sleek minimalist IO shielding, the motherboard does feature some LEDs and in my rgb less build gives it an ominous look of sorts ( which I like) however if you would prefer to not have the motherboard with LEDs on you can opt to turn them off/change their hue with Gigabyte's RGB Fusion software (or any other compatible software). the included guider for the power button, reset and power LEDs was a very nice inclusion and makes installing those cables a breeze. There was one issue post installation which was an issue with windows not recognising that I had TMP 2.0 (meaning this motherboard is windows 11 compatible, although I was using this one on windows 10) and so I had to go to the bios (switch it over to advanced mode) and make my way over to Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Trusted Computing and then make sure security device support was enabled and then I went back to Miscellaneous and made sure Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT) was switched on I then went to the Save & Exit tab and clicked save and exit set up, at which point it tells you what you changed after that shows up click yes and when your pc restarts search up device manager and make sure you can see security devices click on it and see if TMP 2.0 is there if it is open up pc health check and see if its compatible with windows 11 and there you go your pc is ready for when the inevitable update to windows 11. Apart from that issue though the product was great and met the specifications and blew away my expections of what to expect, again great service from Overclockers UK always happy to reccomend a new/experienced builder here for the great prodcts and support.
