Modern Slavery Act 2015

Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the Year Ended 30 April 2021

Policy

OCUK Ltd (Overclockers UK) is opposed to slavery and human trafficking in any part of our activities or our supply chain. We are therefore committed to ensuring that we have adequate policies and procedures in place to identify and prevent these practices.

We met the turnover threshold applicable under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 in the period covered by this statement.

Organisational Structure

We are an online retailer and distributor of high performance products in the technology sector, selling a wide range of products from the world’s leading brands, to business and consumers, from our premises in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.

We are a part of the Pro Gamers Group (formerly Caseking Group). Pro Gamers is a leading European online retailer for high-end performance gaming systems, equipment and peripherals. Its headquarters are in Berlin, Germany.

Pro Gamers Group currently has operations in 10 countries and employs approximately 410 people. More information on our divisions is set out below.

Supply Chains and Risk Assessment

The majority of the products we sell are sourced from reputable suppliers who are based in the UK and the European Union. We also source a number of products from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States, mainly from blue chip multinational firms, such as Intel, Nvidia and AMD, and their supply chains, thereby reducing our risk.

Other products are sourced through the Pro Gamers Group, with both OCUK and Pro Gamers employees, regularly visiting suppliers who make products on behalf of the Group, to ensure they meet applicable legal and ethical standards.

Due Diligence

As part of our compliance with the policies referred to above, we take the following steps:

  • Assess potential risk areas in our supply chains;
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains, including by reviewing, where necessary, the controls that our suppliers have in place and carrying out other suitable checks;
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains on a periodic basis.

Training Staff

OCUK Ltd will continue to make staff aware of the requirements of the legislation, to ensure we do not buy products from Companies who use slavery and human trafficking in their supply chains.
