Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the Year Ended 31 December 2024
Policy
OCUK Ltd (Overclockers UK) is opposed to slavery and human trafficking in any part of our activities or our supply chain. We are therefore committed to ensuring that we have adequate policies and procedures in place to identify and prevent these practices.
We met the turnover threshold applicable under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 in the period covered by this statement.
Organisational Structure
We are an online retailer and distributor of personal computer products in the technology sector, selling a wide range of products from the world’s leading brands to business and consumers, from our premises in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
OCUK Ltd is part of the Pro Gamers Group, a global group comprising of distributors, retailers and brands. We develop our own gaming brands, offering high-quality PC components, peripherals and furniture - designed to meet the needs of gamers, creators, and professionals alike.
Supply Chains and Risk Assessment
The majority of the products we sell are sourced from reputable suppliers who are based in the UK and the European Union. We also source several products from China, Taiwan and the United States, mainly from blue chip multinational firms, such as Intel, Nvidia and AMD, and their supply chains, thereby reducing our risk.
Other products are sourced through Pro Gamers Group. Our Taipei office regularly audit suppliers who make products on behalf of the Group, to ensure they meet applicable legal and ethical standards.
Due Diligence
As part of our compliance with the policies referred to above, we take the following steps::
- Assess potential risk areas in our supply chains;
- • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains, including by reviewing, where necessary, the controls that our suppliers have in place and carrying out other suitable checks.
- Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains on a periodic basis.
Training Staff
OCUK Ltd will continue to make staff aware of the requirements of the legislation, to ensure we do not buy products from Companies who use slavery and human trafficking in their supply chains. We use an online training portal to ensure all relevant staff are kept up to date.
Nature of this Statement
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ended 31 December 2024.
This statement has been approved by the board of directors of OCUK Ltd.
