For a strong foundation, the 8Pack Hypercube MK2 is equipped with the Asus ROG X670 Crosshair Hero Motherboard. This ATX motherboard embeds an AM5 socket and support for PCIe 5.0, enabling 8Pack to select the latest and greatest in components for this extreme build. An absolute beast of a motherboard, it has integrated Wi-Fi6E as well as impressive power stage distribution. This is one of the ultimate motherboards to have in an overclocked system.
If the motherboard is the foundation, then the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X Processor is the 8Pack Hypercube MK2 flexing its gaming muscles. Featuring 16 cores and 32 threads, this high-end CPU has been overclocked TWICE! These profiles will dynamically switch depending on how many cores your applications are using. 8Pack has created a static overclock profile for maximum all core performance. For when you're not the full range of cores, a PBO2 profile has been created. PBO2 is an intelligent software which uses a manually optimised power and temperature curves to boost the CPU as high as it can based on how many cores are in use. All in all, this allows for better thermal headroom, and selects which cores are best for the job. For context, only 30% of CPUs live up to 8Pack’s high standard.
The CPU can operate with a single core overclocked up to 5.9GHz or with all sixteen overclocked up to 5.2GHz. Every CPU is screened and tested before being installed into the system, ensuring you have the best performing processor. No detail is too small for an 8Pack build.
As well as dynamic overclocking, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X utilises AMD Zen 4 architecture which manages to both increase the clock for clock performance vs the previous generation significantly, but also boosts the clock speeds. Also, with AMD StoreMI Technology, the 8Pack Hypercube MK2 will operate with improved boot times, file management, and overall system responsiveness, while actively reducing load times. As a nod to the first system, the 8Pack Hypercube MK2 is housed in the Lian Li O11D Mid-Tower, a chassis known for dynamic configurations to allow for all the tech you could want. Everything about this case is bigger and better than its predecessor. In addition to the full-length distro plate, there is a full-sized, tempered glass side panel perfect for showing off the stunning interior 8Pack carefully designed in conjunction with Overclockers UK’s expert technical team. The aluminium framework is lightweight yet sturdy, and is finished in a brushed effect. Sleek and stunning, the 8Pack Hypercube MK2 is a true beauty.
Enhancing the aesthetic of the build, there are numerous RGB accessories throughout the system. Bathe your gaming environment in an ethereal glow! Featuring RGB strips from Phanteks, TechForge, and Mayhems, this case-wide, vivid light show can be controlled and customised using ASUS AURA. This has been overclocked and fine-tuned to perfect those speedy fetch rates. Should you choose to, the RAM capacity can be upgraded to 64GB which would make this 8Pack build fantastic for creative efforts in addition to phenomenal gaming performance. Further upgrade* options include changing the colour scheme used in the cables and cooling.
