Was in the market for an ultra wide and saw a review of this. Picked one up and what can I say, what a monitor! Totally blew my expectations away. Use it for both remote working and gaming. Not surprised its out of stock! Considering buying a 2nd one for my MacBook Pro. Highly recommended and as usual, awesome service by OC.
Sooooo Happy!

It's early days, but first impressions are very good. It's amazing and price makes it even more so.It's wide, it's sharp, it's curved, its beautiful. Setup was easy. The stand is excellent with a good range of motion to get it setup just right. The G-MENU software is an excellent touch to quick access and change settings.Colours out the box look great.Absolutely cannot fault anything.
Great monitor at a great price point!

Out of the box, this monitor needs a look through the settings in order to get it up to 3440x1440 144Hz. I recommend downloading the G-Menu program from AOC, as this allows you to change the monitor's settings without using the fiddly buttons on the bottom of the monitor's chin bar. Calibrate to the colour you like (I recommend the custom sRGB mode, activate low-blue light mode as it makes the glare much easier to deal with, and doesn't alter the colour depth at all. I found Gamma 3 to be the best gamma setting but your panel may vary.) Once at 144Hz the monitor is noticeably smoother and just feels a lot more premium. Whatever you do, don't turn up the 'Overdrive' setting, as this will make your monitor have horrible dark artifacts appear whenever you move something.Stand is solid and has a wonderful amount of movement, from the chin of the monitor being pretty much resting on the base, to something around 6-8 inches higher than that. The rotation of the stand is a godsend as sometimes your monitor needs to be at a different angle to your stand, especially with a tight desk space with a multi-monitor setup. The curve of the screen is 1500R, which is a lot closer to the optimal 1000R than most ultrawides on the market, making it a lot more curved, and actually a lot less tiresome to look at the far corners of because it appears to sweep around you so much.Overall though, colour depth, brightness and response time are all very positive, size is great, and it comes with the DisplayPort cable you need to connect to if you need 144Hz. (Maximum HDMI-HDMI framerate at 3440 is 100Hz). Red accents don't stand out too much if your whole setup is another colour (mine is blue) - but are visible if you want to see them.Very impressed for its pricepoint, and very happy with the monitor.
