The ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO LEAKSHIELD reservoir in detail
A reservoir that protects your system. Thanks to its negative pressure, the ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO with LEAKSHIELD ensures that no liquid from your water cooling system drips onto your hardware. It also continuously monitors the water circuit for minimal leaks - it can do that before you put the water cooling system into operation.
Thanks to LEAKSHIELD the ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO expansion tank also helps you to fill your system with water as soon as you connect a suction line or to monitor the fill level of the expansion tank.
A powerful pump for sophisticated custom water cooling systems
The aqua computer ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO LEAKSHIELD made of borosilicate glass stands out from the acrylic glass users. Because it is harder and particularly scratch-resistant. In addition, it has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and only expands very slightly when heated.
The glass tube has a wall thickness of 5 mm and an outer diameter of 65 mm . A filter made of stainless steel wire mesh is integrated in the base of the expansion tank. The filter retains particles and eliminates annoying air bubbles. The filter element is easily removable and can be cleaned under running water.
Both the lid and the base of the ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO are made of durable acetal and are screwed to the aluminum rings and the tube. Both ends of the glass tube are firmly connected with metal rings made of black anodized aluminum . They do not come into contact with the cooling medium! This construction makes it possible to do without internal struts or additional tubes.
The function of the LEAKSHIELDS
What does LEAKSHIELD do It creates a vacuum throughout the cooling system . This means that as soon as there is a leak, no coolant escapes . Instead, air is sucked into the system there . To ensure that there is a vacuum at every point in the circuit, you will need to adjust the vacuum depending on your coolant pump .
Any air that enters is removed via the integrated vacuum pump of the LEAKSHIELDpumped out of the system again and the negative pressure maintained. Only in the case of very large leaks, such as a completely torn hose, can coolant escape.
Powerful performance with the D5 Next pump
An aqua computer D5 NEXT pump is mounted directly on the bottom of the reservoir . The pump has an OLED display and numerous control and setting functions . The pump is attached using an aluminum ring on the bottom of the expansion tank.
THE MOST IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS OF THE D5 NEXT PUMP AT A GLANCE:
- Ceramic ball motor for optimal running smoothness and longevity
- Integrated RGBpx lighting for lighting effects and error signalling
- Integrated water temperature sensor
- The OLED display can be operated entirely without PC software
- PWM fan output with up to 25 watts of power and speed monitoring
- RGBpx LED output for up to 90 addressable LEDs
- Alarm buzzer for acoustic alarm signalling
- Aquasuite software for convenient setting, evaluation and visualization of all sensor data
Customize your pump color
The scope of delivery includes digitally addressable RGB LED lighting in the form of an LED ring with 13 RGB LEDs . The RGBpx ring slides easily over the reservoir and illuminates the expansion tank and coolant. The silicone production diffusely breaks the LED light and minimizes unsightly LED spots. The RGBpx ring has an input and an output, which means that several LED rings can be connected to form a chain.
