With a fully hot-swappable PCB and stunning RGB lighting, you can customise this keyboard to suit your needs whilst the updated design provides an elevated typing experience.
The Ducky Mecha Pro SF Gaming Keyboard retains the bold style of its predecessor. It utilises the 65% form factor, keeping the compact size whilst still including the arrow keys. The aluminium casing has a black finish, making it a fine addition to any gaming set up. What’s more, the top plate features an embossed Ducky logo, an iconic extra detail.
Adding a splash of colour, the Ducky Mecha Pro is illuminated by vibrant RGB lighting. The floating key effect emphasises the LED glow, whilst the transparent legends allow the lighting to shine through. There is a selection of effects pre-set on the keyboard, which you can customise in colour, speed, and brightness.
The Ducky Mecha Pro improved design implements Quack Mechanics. At the core of every keyboard are a solid stance, authentic acoustics, balanced tuning, and true PBT keys. All of these factors culminate in a durable and highly reliable mechanical keyboard.
Solid stance refers to the redefined weight distribution. With a better weight ratio at the back of the Ducky Mecha Pro and a lower case height, the overall stability of the keyboard has greatly improved. Plus, this keeps your Ducky Mecha Pro standing firm in one place, whether you are conducting intense battle or are in an inspired writing frenzy.
Authentic acoustics are achieved by the innovative combination of an EVA foam pad under the PCB and Q-Bounce pads. Both are intelligently constructed to reduce unwanted noise whilst also cushioning the impact of typing, thus creating less strain on your hands and wrists. Manufactured from 17 different types of rubber, the Q-Bounce pads are located directly within the PCB.
Balanced tuning is thanks to the premium in-house stabilisers utilised throughout the Ducky Mecha Pro keyboard. Carefully curated, these stabilisers are formulated from synthetic materials and lubrication, thus creating consistent and responsive feedback. Especially on the larger keys.
Lastly, the true PBT keycaps are manufactured from the highly durable plastic, polybutylene terephthalate. Not only does this plastic resist the general wear and tear of use, but they are stain-resistant too. With their frosted surface texture, your grip on these keys will never falter. Being double-shot moulded, the keycap is made in two layers, encasing the legend within the whole item rather than printed on top. This, too, helps maintain the integrity of the keycap.
The Ducky Mecha Pro has been crafted to elevate your typing and gaming experience, including utilising genuine Cherry MX switches, a staple in the gaming keyboard industry. This model is equipped with Cherry MX Speed Silver switches, which have a light operating force of 45g paired with linear feedback, a short travel distance, and no audible click. These are great for fast paced gaming like first-person shooters. The switches are mounted onto a hot-swapable, five-pin PCB with anti-ghosting and N- or 6-Key rollover.
Arranged in a UK ISO layout, the keycaps utilise the OEM profile. This means they are of a medium height and have been angled for comfort. To enhance the ergonomics further, the Ducky Mecha Pro’s base includes two-stage feet, which you can implement as needed.
For your convenience, the Ducky Mecha Pro SF Gaming Keyboard features a detachable USB cable. On the keyboard, there is a USB-C interface, whilst the other end of the cable utilises a USB 2.0 connector. This enhances compatibility and facilitates a stable 1,000Hz polling rate.
