I have mixed feelings about the pad.
by Csaba SzaboThe good things: - The pad is sturdy, easy to clean, and seems very durable. - The mouse glides quickly on it yet can be stopped easily, and it doesn’t slow down even when you press downn hard. The bad things: - The bottom of the mouse pad, which the manufacturer claims is made of silicone to provide maximum grip, is only average and can't even compare to the grip of an Artisan mouse pad, despite costing nearly the same. - The text "ENDGAME GEAR" is engraved in the center of the pad’s underside. When you press the mouse down a bit more and move it quickly, you can feel the unevenness caused by this engraving! The situation is even worse if you use "dot skates" on your mouse. I can't express how disappointing it is to encounter such a major flaw in this price range! - The logo painted on top of the mouse pad can also be felt when you move the mouse over it, but luckily I rarely use that part of the pad. - Finally, the texture of the pad: if you press the mouse down a bit more and make circular motions, you will feel it rubbing oddly against the edge of the mouse at times. This sensation is tolerable and not very disturbing, but it’s definitely not what you’d expect from such an expensive mouse pad. Overall, I do not recommend this pad; I believe you can get better ones for the same price. Also, it’s not worth the premium compared to the MPC.
