Introducing the latest 8Pack inspired gaming PC the Infin8 ABS, which stands for “All Black System”. Part of the Infin8 range, the ABS is the latest 8Pack-inspired gaming PC. This gaming PC is housed in a Fractal Design Define 7 chassis and is all about performance with an understated aesthetic. Curated by 8Pack, himself, the Infin8 ABS has an overclocked CPU to enable top-quality performance.
At the heart of this build, is the award-winning Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero motherboard. Utilising an ATX form factor, this motherboard comes equipped with PCIe 4.0, SATA, and M.2 ports to support all the latest hardware. Ryzen tuned, this motherboard is paired with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor. According to 8Pack, this is the king of CPUs, especially when it comes to gaming. The 12 core/24 thread architecture grants this 5000 Series CPU powerful processing capabilities that make it ideal for content creation as well. With clock speeds of 4.8GHz, this CPU has been overclocked to 5.2GHz for blindingly fast performance.
As an 8Pack-inspired gaming PC, it would be remiss if the RAM was anything other than TeamGroup 8Pack Edition modules. Utilising 32GB of DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz, you can enjoy fast fetch rates and tight timings. For storage, the Infini8 ABS comes equipped with the WD Black SN850 M.2 SSD, sporting 1TB of space. A high-performance drive, this SSD comes with ample capacity to host your favourite games and media library.
For phenomenal graphics, the Infin8 ABS utilises the Palit GeForce RTX 3080Ti. Equipped with over ten thousand CUDA cores and NVIDIA Ampere architecture, this graphics card is VR ready and overclocked by 8Pack for the best possible performance. Powering this machine is the Asus ROG Thor 850W Platinum PSU, that utilises CableMod Pro ModMesh RT Series cables, carbon coloured, of course. The 80 Plus Platinum certification means that when this power supply operates at half load, it does so with an efficiency rating of 90%. The dust-resistant Wing-Blade fan keeps this unit running cool without adding any noise to the system.
The ABS stands for All Black System. Utilising a moody aesthetic, this gaming PC was designed to have an understated style. Instead, all hardware is black, or dark grey, with the lighting being a clean, fresh white. Further enhancing the effect, the tempered glass side panel is tinted, thus creating a stunning gaming PC.
Along the bottom of the chassis, the Infin8 ABS features an OcUK TechForge Lightbox that illuminates the internal hardware in a stark contrast. The chassis, itself, has a sleek, brushed effect, adding to the overall premium style. More white light illuminates the CPU upon the motherboard, in addition to the distro-plate featuring LEDs as well. This lighting can, of course, be configured to show any colour of your choice but the white light has the best dramatic effect.

The Infin8 ABS has been overclocked utilising a unique feature of the Asus ROG Dark Hero motherboard. Called OC Switcher, this allows you to overclock the CPU with AMD’s PBO2 whilst also taking advantage of the more traditional static overclocking. The benefit of this is the ABS can automatically switch between the two types of overclock, depending on workload. PBO2 is better for lower workloads, and is how you achieve the 5.2GHz boost, whereas the static overclock is more suited to heavy workloads. As a result, you can achieve the best performance no matter what the task is. This feature can be set in the BIOS and makes this computer an excellent choice for 3D rendering as well as gaming.
To experience the gaming potential of the Infin8 ABS at its best, 8Pack recommends playing Far Cry 6, Battlefield 2042, and Forza Horizon 5.
Naturally, all this performance power would not be possible without an impressive thermal solution to match. The custom water-cooling loop, built with EK Water Blocks hardware and Corsair Hydro X Hardline Tubing, is incredibly efficient and keeps the Infin8 ABS running cool. Every aspect of this cooling system has been carefully curated to not only match the sleek, black aesthetic but to also provide the thermal power this machine needs.
All of the hard tubing is matte black and arranged in modern, clean, straight lines. The liquid within is clear, carrying the illumination from the LED distro-plate beautifully. This tubing feeds into two radiators, a 240mm mounted on the front panel and a 360mm on the top, which is also vented. There are six fans in total installed throughout the Infin8 ABS to promote exceptional airflow within the chassis.
As with many of the gaming PCs available, the Infin8 ABS can be configured and adjusted to suit your specification. Both the CPU and GPU can be upgraded to different models within their respective series, such as the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X or a 3090 GPU. RAM capacity can be increased all the way up to 128GB, which is particularly useful for content creation. Whilst this may have been designed to be “8Pack’s personal PC”, the Infin8 ABS is yours to tailor.
