The x570 chipset is a very good chipset as it supports 2ndand 3rd gen ryzen cpus and that means if you are starting out, and have a mediocre ryzen cpu,this would be an excellent choice for you as it is future-proofing. I like the rgb accents on theside and top of the board, and it has loads of fan and rgb headers on it, so you wont have to buya controller. This is overall a very good performing board that also looks great and isinexpensive***The pci gen 4 for drives is also a very nice touch***

I chose this MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WIFI mostly for three reasons. First, I wanted a high-end motherboard with the latest technology (X570). 2nd, I wanted the latest WIFI technology (Intel 6) since the PC is outside cable range from my modem. And 3rd, I wanted a high end motherboard with a lot of great features that would make my build last several years. The others I was researching with similar features and at the same price range, they all had WIFI 5 only and didn't look as good. This motherboard has been pure joy since day one. It was my first gaming PC build and I couldn't have done better. Installation was a piece of cake, the manual is very well written and shows with ease exactly what needs to be done and in which order. My friends and I were surprised and relieved at the time of the PC assembly when I showed them that this already comes with the I/O shield installed (life/time saver). My internet speed is 360Mbps, this WIFI 6 technology that comes on the motherboard at a 6 meter range (from the source) picks up around 95%-100% of the speed. The design is pretty amazing and the Carbon stands out, the lights look so cool and bright, also the 4 RAM slots and High Quality audio are so good. The only thing I believe needs some work is the Dragon Center software, looks a bit outdated, but still this easily fixable with future updates. Overall, I definitely recommend buying this motherboard.
