This makes the cooler ideal for compact HTPCs and small form factor housings that offer very little space for CPU coolers. The NH-L9a-AM4 chromax.black has a compact footprint that fits exactly into the keep-out zone of the AM4 base. So there are no problems with other parts or components.
The highly optimized NF-A9x14 HS-PWM premium fan supports PWM for fully automatic speed control and uses innovative aerodynamic design measures and Noctua's AAO frame system. With only 23.6 dB (A) volumeat a speed of up to 2,500 rpm and a decent 57.5 m³ / h (33.84 cfm) airflow , the fan shows impressive values despite its small size of only 92 by 92 by 14 millimeters. With the Low-Noise Adapter (LNA) the speed of the NF-A9x14 HS-PWM fan can be reduced to 1,800 rpm. If you need larger power reserves, you can replace the pre-installed fan with a 92 model with a height of 25 millimeters.
